Warm Steak Salad with Mandarin

Ingredients:

250gm (appx 1/2 lb) cooked
steak, roast or sliced deli meat

6 cups mixed salad
greens
-
300gm (appx 10 oz) fresh
mandarins, peeled and segmented
-
1/2 onion, cut into rings
or finely chopped
-
2 tablespoons red wine
vinegar
-
1 tablespoon vegetable
oil
-
2 teaspoons Worcestershire
sauce
-
1 teaspoon sugar
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
1/4 teaspoon chilli
powder
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground
black pepper

Method:

Cut the meat into thin
strips

Place the greens into a large
salad bowl and add the mandarins, onion rings and meat

In a small microwavable
container, mix the other ingredients together and microwave on High for around
30 seconds or until the dressing comes to a boil

Pour the dressing over the
salad, toss lightly and serve

Notes:

If you don't have fresh mandarins
available, tinned mandarins are an acceptable substitute

If you're
really pressed for time, you can substitute a balsamic vinegar
in place of the prepared salad dressing
